Waiting for what, I wonder. Beautiful surroundings, but looking somewhat lonely, but evidently looking forward to whatever or whoever is approaching from down the path. What’s that in her hand – a beggar’s bowl? If so, what is she asking for? A good life, love, prosperity? Who knows but you, Frank.
